We live to know Christ and make Him known. The proclamation of the gospel is our primary desire for those in our community and in all parts of the world. We believe this is the main call he gave us as believers according to Matthew 28:19-20.
God also gave us a vision to start a church where followers of Christ regardless of race, culture or nationality can worship together as one. The modern day church has become homogenous and as a result we do not have a complete picture of what the church should be. Our desire is to have a church that is a mosaic of people who gather together and worship one true God.
In Revelation 7:9 John describes a great multitude that no one could count, with every nation, tribe, people and language represented; all of them standing before the throne of God in front of the lamb and they were all worshiping Him. The question then is, why are we waiting till then to gather together in worship of the Lord our God? We are the kingdom of God today and we should be gathering together regardless of race or origins.
We are also a place for those who have gone astray from their relationship with God to come to be restored. Many have given up on church for various reasons but still love God. We would like to embrace and help them find fullness in Christ and true worship with other believers.
New Life Church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention through the Missouri Baptist Convention.
Lead Pastor
Pastor Cephus Nziramasanga studied and received his Bachelor’s degree at Oklahoma Baptist University and his MA w/Christian Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been in ministry for over 17 years in several places, before God called him and his wife Emily to plant New Life Church in Liberty, Missouri. They have been married for 9 years and have a beautiful growing family.
